Why Road Safety Matters
Loss of life due to road accidents is a major concern in our country and with the growing need of expressways and highways, there is also a need to create a life saving ecosystem which helps to reach out to the victim in-time before it’s too late. A total of 85 000 people die annually from road track injuries in the WHO European Region (1). Addressing the risk of death in road tracks is fundamental to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically those affecting health security, sustainable cities and reducing inequalities among countries. Action is necessary across all sectors to reduce mortality and morbidity from road crashes. One such loss gave birth to VISHAL WIN and now we want to work towards saving lives.
Our Inspiration
Founded in January 2019, Vishalwin Foundation was established in loving memory of Late Shri Vishal Verma, who tragically left us at the young age of 39 in a road accident in April 2018. Vishalji was a person whose life reflected kindness, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping others. His spirit of generosity and care for those around him continues to inspire us every day.

Innovating Road Safety for Real Impact
Pilot Project
We are initiating a pilot project on the Narol to Bareja highway belt, with the aim of replicating this model in other accident-prone zones throughout Gujarat and India.
Uniqueness
We are moving beyond awareness campaigns to direct intervention. Our new focus is on equipping ambulances with the latest life-saving technology. This will ensure that patients get the critical care they need during transport, ultimately improving outcomes and saving more lives in our community.
End Goal
Our ultimate goal is to create a self-sustaining road safety ecosystem that can be replicated across India. We aim to significantly reduce fatalities and injuries from road accidents by focusing on proactive prevention, rapid response, and community empowerment.
