Empowering Mothers of CWSN with Scholarships
The Vishalwin Foundation has established a scholarship program to empower mothers of children with special needs. This initiative provides crucial financial support and specialized training for qualifications recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) in fields like special education and caregiving. By investing in their skills, the program enhances the mothers’ ability to provide exceptional care, helps them pursue fulfilling careers, and creates a more positive, sustainable impact on their families and community.
Mission
The mission of this program is to empower mothers of children with special needs by providing them with the tools and opportunities to build a better future for themselves and their families. We believe that by investing in these mothers, we can create a sustainable and positive impact that extends far beyond their own lives.
Our Objective
Provide Financial Support
Offer scholarships to cover the costs of specialized education and training.
Enhance Skills and Knowledge
Equip mothers with qualifications recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) in areas like special education and caregiving.
Foster Professional Growth
Help mothers pursue fulfilling careers that give them financial independence and a sense of purpose.
Improve Caregiving
Enhance the mothers’ ability to provide exceptional care for their own children with special needs through professional training.
Strengthen Communities
Empower these women to become leaders and professionals who can contribute positively to their families and communities.
Benefits
This program delivers significant benefits by creating a positive ripple effect that reaches beyond the individual.
For the Mothers
It provides financial independence and a sense of purpose. By gaining certified skills, they can pursue fulfilling careers, which boosts their confidence and creates a sustainable source of income.
For the Children
Children directly benefit from having a mother who is a professionally trained caregiver. Her enhanced skills and knowledge lead to better daily care and improved developmental outcomes.
For the Community
The program creates a new wave of skilled special education professionals. These empowered mothers can go on to help other families, which strengthens the community’s overall support system.
Empowering a Mother, Empowering a Community
By investing in a single scholarship for a mother, we’re not just helping one person; we’re creating a lasting, ripple effect that benefits many children over time.
A mother who receives professional training becomes an expert caregiver. Her skills and knowledge directly improve the well-being of her own child with special needs. But this is just the beginning.
As a certified professional, she can then serve other families in the community. Through her work, she can provide therapy, guidance, and support to numerous other children. This single scholarship creates a new, skilled professional who will continue to provide better care to multiple children, year after year, building a stronger support system for the entire community.
Approach
Our strategy for achieving these benefits is centered on a holistic and empowering model, not just financial aid.
01
Strategic Training
We don’t just provide funds; we connect mothers with specialized training programs. By focusing on qualifications recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), we ensure their skills are official and valuable.
02
Empowerment, Not Charity
Our primary goal is to empower mothers. We provide the tools for long-term independence so they can help themselves and their families build a better future, rather than relying on ongoing support.
03
Impact-Driven
Every part of our program is designed with the end goal in mind: creating a positive and lasting impact on the lives of these families and their communities.
Testimonials
Listen to the families, children, and partners who have experienced the transformation firsthand.
